It's been a while since I've been blogging. And there is a good reason for this: we are in a race to release the public alpha of Pearltrees. But before doing so, we have made public our blog. This blog started more than a year ago. It is the story of a start-up.
At first it was a communication tool to craft and define the project while we were working in our repsepctive jobs. It was also a way to introduce the new comers. Actually all founders first arrived as community members before posting one blog and finally joining the adventure.
Then there was an intermediate period when we all left our jobs, finalized our seed round, starting developping the platform, etc. until we moved into our offices.
Finally, since last august, the blog saw the evolution of the platform and the growth of the community embryo.
Pearltrees' blog moves now from a private place to a public place - a public place where all users can write posts and where everybody can participate to this human adventure.
If you're interested in the real day-to-day life of a start-up - from the time of the "idea" of an individual up to the (soon-to-come) alpha release - it's a fascinating reading (with all texts since day 1).
